Personally, I am shocked that a guy can be the CEO and in his time as CEO have the stock drop from ~$30 to $.70 and still keep his job, all while making ~$1.2M/year...

Now that right there is what is wrong with business. Think of how many devs could still have their jobs if this overpaid CEO got axed instead.

Even more shocking is that the CEO of the company I work for is in his 7th year as CEO, helped the company grow from $4M/year revenue to an estimated $96M revenue for the next fiscal year, to be up from $70M this year and he makes $600,000 (Base salary of ~300k). Here is a guy who went from working as a mechanic to going back to school at 40 years old, then working in accounting and after tons of hard work became controller at my job and ultimately gaining the CEO spot when the company was on the brink of closure to now being a top supplier for Grumman, Sikorsky, Lockheed Martin, Boeing and many others. Just last year we did so well that we gained "Supplier Gold" status for Sikorsky, one of only 10 suppliers in the world to boast that accomplishment.

It really is true what they say then, which is : "The less you do the more you make".
