the points system was always unfavourable, actual cash price is better but will still work the same way. ie £3.99 game on psn you cant make a debit card payment for £3.99 you have to purchase in blocks of £5
if microsofts new system allows actual as-is price transaction that would be the best way imo
it sucks purchasing something and having loose change left over for which you can buy a theme or avater or keep for next time you buy
...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...
