You're paying $40 a month with a multi-year contract on the plan.

1 year = $480 for your "free" Vita.
2 years = $960 for your "free" Vita.
3 years = $1440 for your "free" Vita.

Sorry, but that's a horrible finance rate on something you really should just save up for and buy for $250 or $300 with a game.

Personally, I wouldn't do it. However, he did say the bolded so more power to him.
