The Tree Of Life actually got a nod for Best Picture, its a likely underdog to win as well, so I'm super happy with that.

I've yet to see it, but I've seen/heard mixed opinions of it.

It's nothing short of a masterpiece. You better go in with a good background in complex Cinema though, theres an enormous amount of Imagery. In fact when watched theres actually little dialouge, its driven by the imagery itself and in such a profound way its breathtaking. Its a movie that makes you, nothing short of, reflect on life in general. Superb in my book, and I've seen a good number of movies to compare, and I've never seen anything like this which evokes so much emotion and stirs so many thoughts. I highly recommend it!
