That'll work if you don't want to play the Gears series, Forza series, Halo series, Fable series, etc. But I think you're smart enough to know your argument didn't hold water.


Fable can easily be replaced by Kingdoms of Alamur as a multiplat. I got more out of that game in an hour than I did out of Fable 3 or 2. Forza= Gran Turismo 5, Gears and Halo is all you've got left. Gears is finished.....need I say more? I think you're going to need another bucket, because the other one is full.


I think what he's referring to people that actually WANT to play those games. If a person wants to play Fable, not a similar game. If a person want to play Forza, not Gran Turismo (which is a more realistic style anyway), If a person wants to play through the entire Gears franchise and multiplayer. (Are you trying to imply that because no more Gears games are being created, which hasn't been confirmed anyway, then all previous iterations are useless). If a person wants to play through the Halo campaigns and the multiplayer. If a person wants to play games not on the PS3 like Left4Dead, Splinter Cell, Etc, then their g oing to need an Xbox 360. In that case, it would be financially viable to just skip out on a PS3 & PC because the X360 has all of those things. And add in all the great 3rd party games and you've got yourself a great console.

Gears is finished for this gen and their exclusivity contract with Microsoft is up, so on that third party exclusivity is over until they say otherwise. Microsoft has got the Witcher 2, but anyone with a PC doesnt need to play it on a 360. I have a 360 so I will enjoy at least that an possibly Halo 4 for this year as a whole in the year of 2012. On the other hand I'll be enjoying Sly 4 and new experiences Starhawk, Dust 514, Twisted Metal, the Last Guardian. This has to be the PS3's strongest and most varied multiplayer year yet and if no one will tip their hat to that I'll be the one to do it. Its not like I dont like the 360, because I do (otherwise I wouldn't have invested in the newer model), but Microsoft plans with it are my biggest problem. I can give credit where it is due, but I will call you on your bullshit when you screw up,  Simple. As you can see I'm not one of those types of people who like to sit there and just take it. Fable 3 being on PC just stupid on Microsofts part. I didnt even like it, but still.
