No, it's a trap.

For ease of calculation, let's round the current marketshare of the two devices to 95 % and 5 %, respectively. In order for the 3DS to maintain its share, it needs to outsell the PSV 19:1 every week on a worldwide basis. That's certainly not going to happen with the upcoming PSV launches in America and Europe.

You're just being overly pessimistic. 

     He's actually very correct. Literally, it WILL be a struggle for the 3DS to maintain a 95% market share in the following months. I expect more or less the same market share ratio as the DS to the PSP. Also, I didn't find any visual(pictorial) chart that compares the total hardware totals of the DS and the PSP, though i found their total hardware figures in numbers.

Yes, I'm aware of that, my post wasn't meant to be interpreted seriously. The 3DS should be at around 30 million at the end of 2012, and the Vita is obviously going to be at more than 1.6 million, which is what would be needed to get 5% market share.

 I'd pretty much have to be a complete idiot in order to disagree with Rol here.
