If they provide extra things to use play coins on (right now, Mii Plaza things and Swapnote), then I'm going to end up needing coins to come more quickly and easily. I've already set my 3DS clock back for an eternity so I can continually change the date to earn upwards of 50 coins per day instead of the usual 10, and I still have a difficult time having enough.
