I think stuff like that is done on purpose. Does Nintendo really want kids looking up porno? somebody sending a streetpass pic of there nuts? getting random messages from strangdes?its to keep it safe

If they want to they should be able to. Parents should hold the responsibility of setting up parental controls.
It's not fair for the older gamers that they get limited features because Nintendo is trying to parent the worlds children.
