All other demos are 3rd party games as far as I can tell.

Hmm something tells me Nintendo does not want to release demos of their games. I mean if they wanted they could have already released a demo for SM3DL and MK7 but they haven’t yet


Until Gears 3's demo a couple of weeks ago, Microsoft had never released a demo of a Gears or Halo game (still has never been a Halo demo).  When you know you have the sale, you don't give the public anything.  Not even a taste. 

I bet Nintendo demos Kid Icarus, though.  That's a game that would likely benefit from letting people give it a try.  Starfox should have had a demo, too.

So why did they release a Gears 3 demo? Are sales falling below expectations?
