Nothing wrong with it at all, other than it being an absolutely futile effort. When English Wikipedia is down (sorta) and reddit is down and Google has a big thing on its front page, does yourgamercards.net going down for the day really do anything to raise awareness? People know already. Just slap a black ribbon on your goddamn website and be done with it like we did back in the '90s!

I have to admit I'm kind of bummed out by this level of pessimism, here. I'll disagree: better everyone be in on it than only a few.
