In the home I had that old handheld football game that was just a bunch of lights from what I remember. An Atari was in and out of our house as well from time to time. My first console was the NES. I guess, kind of crazy but it must have been my 5th or 6th birthday. It was the best day of my childhood back then. I cannot remember the commercials now, but I knew what thee NES was so I must have seen Mario before. It ended up being stolen years later when it was still worth money at a pawn shop, but I used it plenty in the time I had it. The last game I had for it was (retarded) Where's Waldo. He was a bad ass back then, and I had all of his books. My first computer in the house was a IBM and in school we used an Apple II. |
Interesting stuff, spurgeonryan. Thanks for sharing. Too bad your NES was stolen.
You know to this day I still own my original NES. I just can't bring myself to part with it. Brings back memories.
