not sure if serious? is germany eastern europe for you as well then? berlin isn't much away from poland lol. sure austria is more eastern as germany but it's really not eastern europe. the culture as well is totally different in eastern europe than it is in austria. austria is like germany or so (let's forget few differences every country has)
ok, geographically it's "middle-europe" but we europeans only say western, eastern , northern and southern-europe. at least we germans don't say middle-europe to us, we say western europe.
the eastern/western thing is more a political one.
Edit: oh you come from europe as well maybe you see it otherwise in croatia or wherever you live in "yugoslavia", which isn't anymore for a long time now.
