actually it's the opposite, VGC members are having a hard time accepting that MS hold an average of 1.44 million units in stock  on Shelves, its very hard for the SDF to deal with right now.

Your math seems off, I'm getting 1.72 for the average of those five numbers, more if you take out the obviously outlying .6 which would makes the average 2.0 instead.

Also I suggest not throwing around terms like SDF around.

Was about to say that.  Of course, an average doesn't matter here, anyway.  As more tracking service's numbers get revealed, and if we take MS's own 66+ million number, there just seems to be a lot of 360's in the channel (~2.3 million is what VGC has at the moment).  This is just a case of retailers thinking the 360 was going to fly off of shelves in Dec because of great Nov numbers (mostly in the US), but it didn't happen.

Since black friday is only in the US, and that's where the 360 sold gang buster during that time frame, and since the boost in sales didn't really affect the rest of the world, wouldn't it be logical to asume that a large portion of inventory of the 360s are in the US? Since it is there that many retailers experienced the awosme sales from the x360 during black friday and expected it to sell a whole lot more during christmas?
