kowenicki said: It was juvenile. Alos, it has nothing to do with glossing over anything. It has to do with the fact that a gamble... a massive gamble... back fired, because they didnt consider scenarios that could undo their work. They arrogantly assumed the PS3/Blu-Ray trojan would fly at the launch price, they assumed market share, they assumed PS2 like profits. It didnt happen that way and then they had some pretty bad luck on top. Yes they were unlucky, but you make your own luck. |
And you're assuming a lot of things and putting it across as fact.
You don't know. Anyway the gaming division is turning a profit. And I keep saying it. The Yen. Its not arrogant to assume that massive changes in the strength of the Yen wouldnt happen. It wasn't much of a gamble because it wasn't likely to happen. Blu-Ray was a gamble that paid off because it won and will make them money. And if the strength of the yen didnt change so much they would of been making money years ago and the gaming division would be making a lot more of a profit now.
You Sir are just hell bent on putting Sony in a bad light with all your assuming.
Just say it "I HATE SONY!".
You'll feel better.
