Not sure as I haven't played Crysis 2. But Crysis 1 has great enemy AI (at least for the humans) and it's much less linear than Crysis 2.

What do you mean by heavy combat? Slow movements and heavy feel of weapons like in Killzone 2 and Battlefield 3? Crysis is not that heavy.

Crysis 2, is much much more linear than Crysis, or Crysis warhead. But, the second crysis had some scenes where my jaw dropped on PC (pretty much the only game ever to do that from a technical perspective).

Did they put Crysis Warhead on Xbox? That's better imo, psycho is more entertaining. The first half of crysis is great tho. When the aliens come in, it's much more  linear and they are stupid. Sort of like the aliens in crysis 2. The flying ship part is fun, but clunky.
