Ah, but that's where you're wrong about Wario and Waluigi--Waluigi was created by Fumihide Aoki and is voiced by Charles Martinet.[1] His name is a portmanteau of Luigi's name and the Japanese adjective warui (悪い) meaning "bad"; hence, a "bad Luigi".[ |
Not only that.
If you read it normally in Japanese it's "Waruiji", right? (That's how he's spelt in Japanese) That means "bad Luigi".
Now if you read it several times over you always get "ijiwaru" (turned around iji and waru). "ijiwaru" means malicious, ill-tempered, unkind etc.
That name is great on many levels!
The character itself is meh, I guess...
And Tingle is awesome! :)
