Both Skyward Sword and OOT 3D are great, but the handholding is becoming a huge problem, worse for every game we get. It has been mentioned in other threads, but I am frustrated so I am making a separate one.

Skyward Sword it is insane. "THERE IS A CHEST THERE, YOU SHOULD OPEN IT!" This guy Paraxade is doing a test speed run on Skyward Sword on  youtube (as user paraxzero, check it out), but it takes FOREVER because Fi has idiotic messages once every 30 seconds.

I dont understand why Nintendo think we are getting dumber and dumber, and why they think that the Zelda purchasers are dominated by people who never played an adventure game before.

The strange thing is, there are still lots of stuff in the game that you have to figure out on your own (where there is no help at all), but the simplest, most mundane tasks get over-explained so that you can do it in a coma. WHY?

And you can't even skip the text, like you could in TP, even in goddamn hero mode I have to read all the idiotic Fi messages again. Nintendo is trying to annoy me, I am sure.

They even added more hand-holding in the Ocarina of Time 3D remake? Did you notice? Like when you climb to Death Mountain and talk to Kapora Gaebora, and he tells you to go look for the fairy, and you have to be clever. In the remake he suddenly adds "AND DONT GO BOTHER LOOKING IN THE CRATER."

So what was actually something I remembered has fun in the original 14 years ago, is now basically removed from the game, since there is no more search option. And they've done this many times in the game.

Nintendo is treating Zelda players as idiots. It is getting too much to bear.
