It would be cool if they start with MGS3 (the first game in the storyline history) and then slowly move towards MGS Twin Snakes.  I'd buy em all all over again.....AGAIN!  The only Metal Gear I only own one copy/version of are Portable Ops and MGS4!

By the way, I've warmed to the 3DS now, I might even get one before the PS Vita.
