i believe this is the most likely scenario, there shipment gaps have been in the mid 2M range in the past as i posted the other day even for sony and N they have had big shipment/sold gaps before so its very likely for this to be the case no with MS, especially with recent NPD numbers putting the PS3/360 US gap much smaller then VGC
it possible that 360 could be under tracked in EU though, but i believe not to the extent that that's where all the remaining consoles went
