even if that shortage did happened... (i am not from america so i don't really know how the launch wnt down in there) that argument is nothing compared with the fact that in the first year Xbox did not have any competition in terms of 7th generation consoles. Research? that was indeed very nice!

LOL yea, 360 didn't have any 7th gen competition, it only had PS2 to face during prime years, when few people were ready to move to the 7th generation.
