Also it will be remembered as the most pathetic generation winner ever - was there any gen when winner had <50% market share ? Also probably first winner which is laugthing stock of majority of gamers population.

Well, the SNES ended at slightly over 50% market share. It sold 49 million itself, up against the Turbo Grafx and the Genesis. The Turbo Grafx sold 10 million, and the Genesis sold somewhere between 30 and 40 million itself.

And the reason you're being called out on your bias, is that you seem unable to understand that there are people who have different opinions from you. Unless, of course, you use a completely different definition of the gamers population than everybody else.

It could be argued that the Wii is the least impressive generation winner yet (well, if you ignore everything before the NES at least), for the reasons you mentioned. It's far easier to argue that what it's done is incredibly impressive, though. It's the - by far - most profitable home console yet. It's housed the top 5 (or, depending on how you view it, 5 of the top 6) most popular console games in existence, and created a larger amount of new gamers than any console since the NES.

I get that you don't like most of the Wii's games, but that doesn't mean that there isn't a heapload of people who do. It's made a load of people happy, I really don't know why it's made you mad.
