I think he's not good at making hyper realistic games and he shouldn't try to do so. He says that hyper realism prevents you from making things different but that's because he doesn't know how to. Isn't he that one that said he could do Halo? Yeah... funny guy.
I got nothing agains't him but I believe that both graphic styles should be relevant to what they're trying to represent. He nailed his style completely and should stick with it.
