As for Spartacus, you essentially have the first season of the show (Spartacus: Blood and Sand). It focuses on the rise of Spartacus as a gladiator and his beginning as the leader of the slave rebellion. Gods of the Arena is a prequel series which focuses on the rest of the gladiators in the school before the arrival of Spartacus and the events leading up to Blood and Sand. It is equal to if not better than Blood and Sand in quality. Vengeance is the upcoming second season of the show which I'm looking forward to greatly, although it will feature a different actor in the role of Spartacus. Edit: I would recommend watching Blood and Sand before Gods of the Arena so you know the characters better and you can better understand their development in the prequels. |
Wow, nice. So three full seasons in total for this Spartacus series? That's heaven for a Sword-and-Sandal lover!
Now I also plan to download Game of Thrones (again, not on Swedish TV). Montana, what do you think of Game of Thrones?
Marc Antony was the dark haired guy and Cicero the blonde guy in Rome? Both soldiers. I got tired of them after a while. I watched the whole series though.
