Well, after a pitiful first couple of weeks in Japan, they'll want to avoid similar launch woes in other places. They're already taking a loss on hardware, I believe, so they likely can't afford a price drop on the level of the 3DS'.
Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
