yeah shame that hasn't happened to me. I've played up to eldin volcano and I still hate it. I haven't gone back to it in like a week and I doubt I will ever get further. It's torture to play and I don't like it.
I really don't find the gameplay enjoyable at all, and in fact, playing this game made me want to go back and play TP just so I could enjoy the franchise once again.
