@tk1989--i like how some people will use other systems to try and proove their shifting logic, but when asked to be proven wrong have to limit others

i agree with your price point--if i have to similar items on a shelf and one has had the price dropped multiple time and the other is still just steamrolling along i am going to wonder why the company is cutting price so much--is something efective, less then, or wanting about said product

also good point about people buying the system just for the blu ry--sony has commericals/ads just for this feature and dont even mention the fact it is a game machine

"why would someone who wants just games spend extra money on something they will not use?), " thank you i am not alone here

also good point about the ps2 start b/c of price---the wii didnt suffer from that as much b/c people are more comfortable spending the 250 mark now--and if i remember for a while the gamecube and ps2 were pretty close in price wernt they?

yea ps3 (600) and wii (250) is much different then GCN( 200) and (ps2) 299 thats very true. we all made good points but the point i am trying to make is the the customer is looking for value. not always the cheapest price. and ps2 with online, DVD and ps3 with blu-ray and online and etc. is vaule. i no when i justify buying a ps3 it better have games and movies and thats what some not all look at.

not everyone wants a system that only plays games lol.
