I did not contradict myself.

You are uninformed because of your statement about the possibility of a N64 to Xbox gap between Wii U and and PS4/720. That's bullshit and far from the worst case scenario.  The other thing was your comment about Wii U being a DC to Xbox gap and that's  if Sony and MS were conservative.

You sound just like those annoying fanboys you meet all over the net who started gaming this gen and think that all Nintendo can do is extremely underpowered hardware like Wii despite it being obvious a Wii-like strategy is not their goal next gen. It's like pre-wii never happened and Wii is the console to judge all future Nintendo consoles by.

But whatever, I need to stop wasting my time on these kind of online arguments.

The Wii U is not an entirely unknown quantity, devs who have worked with the hardware have said it is arround as powerful as the Xbox 360/PS3 that is not a fanboy oh Nintendo only make underpowered hardware rant that is bassed on what actual devs and all known data suggests. In fact Nintendo themselves have said  "We're very sensitive, of course, to trying to do all of this at an appropriate price. So I don't know that we would be able to sit here and say that it's going to necessarily dramatically outperform the systems that are out now. It's part of the balance that we strike in terms of trying to find entertainment that is new and unique." so it's not like I am trolling Nintendo here.

And given that MS and Sony will almost certainly offer a true generation leap then a N64 to PS2 leap is likely, more likely than even a Dreamcast to xbox leap. Hell given the history of Sony it is possible that they will try and use the PS4 to push 4K TVs and even for upscaling from 1080p+ native will require at least a 9x leap in power to make it look nice at solid framerates. And given that MS design hardware arround what developers want they will likely be using Epic's Samaritan tech demo as the target for their console which is talking arround a 8x leap. By 2013 the Xbox will be 8 years old, they managed to make a generational leap from Xbox to 360 in just 5, the tech is there to make it happen. And then there is Crytech have said they want a 10x leap MINIMUM next gen and they would prefer something like 16x the GPU power of current consoles and at least 8GB of RAM if they are going to offer a true generation leap in graphics with CGI movie level graphics, while that is outragous and will not happen unless the consoles launch late 2015 at the earliest it should give an indecation of the kind of leap some big developers are pushing for. Also do you really think that NaughtyDog would be scared of moving to the next generation if was only a Dreamcast to PS3 size leap?
