He was 19 when he started working at the Hal Laboratories, it probably took a few years (let's say two) untill he started at Smashbros 1. It was finished early 99, and let's say they worked 4 years on it. That makes him 25 in 99 and 34 years old now in 08.
He is 20 years older than me then, I thought it was much more. You're right, he looks older than he is.
