Really hope we do see something this year. The media looks like they are starting to really try and get the word flowing on next gen hardware. If this keeps going as it is right now people are going to start holding back on PS3/360 purchases.
Just this week I had a couple of people at work asking me about the next Xbox being show at CES. These are just 45 year old COD players, so its getting out to the casual gamer.
I think the best thing to do this year is say yeah they are coming spring/winter/fall/sumer of 20XX, and here is some tech demos. It will give the hardcore something to gawk over, and allow casuals to feel safe either waiting, or just going ahead with a current gen purchase.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
