| mesoteto said: @Dno--could scarecrow argument--agreed about the people who bought it, but they are not the majority market so acting like they are is wrong people that bought that wanted it, the average joe is not going to pay more for something he is not going to use , which was my point- and making comment about software comming from 360 is silly b/c its the same point as before--sure teh 360 sells software but you have to pay more for the extra features like HD and such and if you dont want/need that right now its a moot point for more money....or you can buy the system that just plays games like you want |
and you again have givien me no facts you stated your opinion which is awesome and great but your wrong. i and the millions who bought 360 and ps3 and still buy it love those "extra features" and are willing to pay for them (see THIS VERY SITE) and some dont.
i love this all of a sudden average joe stuff because if im correct the average joe bought the ps2 right? the MARKET LEADER AND THE HIGHEST SELLING CONSOLE IN HISTORY. i no out of the 120 something millions who bought ps2s (and are still buyin them in high numbers) some of them didnt want the DVD player...or the online.....or the harddrive.......or the music player in it.......... but it still sold and became the highest selling system of all time. i THINK I THINK!!!!!! some of the people buying a ps2s have all those features and was at one time willing to pay for it. (npd number showed in US alone ps2 selling 900k.....thats a lot of average joes).
And if you logic makes sesne then the gamecube would be the highest selling system becasue it was the cheapest and only did one thing and thats play games but it was not was it.....hmmmmm...... guess some average joes will pay for some features dont you?
