I'd say keep guns for the police and soldiers. the days of hunting in the wilds like in the 1800s is over in my opinion.

They should make bullets expansive instead. Like $600 per round. If someone got shot, you know they must have done something to worth a $600 bullet. I wont be surprised if the shooter went back for the bullet.

Spoken like a person who has no clue about the wildlife population that would go out of control if it weren't for hunting season, and spoken like a person who has never hunted for food, which many Americans do.

I don't hunt, but I live in the northeast and I can vouch that the deer population is already out of control.  Besides, venison is delicious

Exactly.  Most dopes go on living their lives thinking those populations stay stagnant without constant human intervention.  If we wanted to be "all natural" and let nature do it's thing, then you wouldn't have farms to feed anyone.

Or perhaps humans is moving in in the deer's natural habitat. another thing to consider

Which happened 100 years ago?  You want to move the millions of humans now?  Are we even being realistic?

if you want to be realistic, obviously your idea is not an option.. it is not as it was 100 years ago.  At this point in time we have no choice but to keep the deers under control in these hunting games. its not a matter of survival. that is why each hunter plays a lottery that tells them what they can hunt and how many.
