Tell them the truth, and then tell them that you gave yourself self punishment for missing school and then clean the house up so it's nice and clean. That may save you some sort of grounding if you get off your lazy butt and do something productive since you missed school.
They really can't be that mad at you if you went and cleaned the whole house/made all the beds/cleaned all the toilets and showers/baths.
My pokemon brings all the nerds to the yard. And they're like, "You wanna trade cards?" Damn right, I wanna trade cards. I'll trade this, but not my charizard.
