Perhaps we have last year overtracked, but then I swear we got updates through this year on lifetime userbase ..

Install base next week will be 39.4~, so if they've just hit 39m that's 400k over, and perhaps we have a previous year under by 500k?

I guess a fairly hefty adjustment of 300k or so is required then if this is official Nintendo numbers.  

Someone on GAF said the Wii LTD as of Nove was 37.75, so at least 1.25m in Dec. If they did 1.25m in Dec that's 4.70~ for the year, which is plausible as they said over 4.5m
