Back on topic, one of the caracteristics of the oled is that it's flexible. The old dream of the screen that you can roll under your bed as a carpet.
Caracteristics such as efficiendy and power consumption can be very interesting, since the oled technology does not need a backlighting. Response time as well, and contrast ratio can be infinite...
Does anybody remember the Sony oled TV showcased a few years ago ? those were 15 inches oled screen 5mm thin. Is LG pwning Sowny on that market ?
