It's a good game, but sales =/= quality, and this game only represents what the VGC community like. According to this game, they really hate Halo and Mass Effect (Why weren't you throwing a fit when Halo died?), and they love JRPG's.

Heck, so far, this list really looks like my more anticipated games, so it's doing a great job representing me.

I wasn't because I'm not looking forward to it, obviously, and I don't have a 360. But the point is, GTA is not just sales, it's quality too, even if it wouldn't sell as much as it does. Every console 3D GTA has had an average around or above 95. GTA not being in top 15 is an absolute outrage. I'm going angry to bed!

 

And is the metascore for Halo that much lower? Halo 1 is the best rated FPS ever, and Halo 3 and Reach are still above 9/10 for metascore.

GTA is a great franchise, but being good doesn't mean it's representative of the VGC community. Mass Effect 3 will also likely get a metascore above 95/100, but it died early too.

People on VGC want to do more then just shoot hookers....they want to save the world from monster and swing a sword around being a good guy.

psshh people don't want the option to be a bad ass here, were all goodie two shoes.
