GTA is a largely over-rated franchise, but the games are good.

GTA is one of the biggest franchises ever. GTA games are most of the time among GOTY nominees and the biggest sellers of their release years. The trailer also got an insane amount of buzz when it came out. But that is not enough to finish above niche JRPG's on VGC. I'm sure they'll all be great, but most anticipated? 

That doesn't matter. Being a great selling game doesn't mean it will be the most anticipated game for the small niche VGC comminity. GTA, like Call of Duty, and New Super Mario Bros, sell well because they have a larger audience of people who are interested.

It's a good game, but sales =/= quality, and this game only represents what the VGC community like. According to this game, they really hate Halo and Mass Effect (Why weren't you throwing a fit when Halo died?), and they love JRPG's.

Heck, so far, this list really looks like my more anticipated games, so it's doing a great job representing me.
