I am a little concerned about the possibility that I might need to get mine serviced soon. It is noisier than it used to be when reading discs. I have have not problems with artifacts, but I have had it freeze a few times using the internet channel. Technically, it also freezes when playing Star Trek : Conquest but that is a game issue not a Wii issue.
