This guy should be fired. I'm sick of the comparison between dedicated handheld gaming and this Forbes Magazine guy obviously knows nothing about the gaming industry.
Despite the fact he "covers mobile hardware, software and video games". I mean " There is no doubt that Nintendo’s 3DS is going to sell at least 20 Million units globally over the next couple of years.". Seriously. The 3DS has passed 13 million in under a year. Mario Kart 7 will pass 3 million sold in under a month. Super Mario 3D Land is going to cross 4 million in two months.
Uncharted is a bigger market in North America. Once Call of Duty, Gran Turismo, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Tales and MotorStorm come out the Vita will be doing much better as well.
