where are you getting this from. Im sure heavy rain would do pretty good on the 360 and small budget rpgs like arland would probably do around the same numbers as they did ont the ps3 in america and europe as games like eternal sonata and star ocean have sold as well and sometime better on the 360. And what makes you think versus 13 would be dumbed down because of 360 development. And even if it was it would be because of the lack of skill on the developers end not the systems fault.  Also developing for two platforms does not double costs or anything like that and alot of the stuff you said like not having time to optimize it for 2 consoles really makes no sense as a company would work these things out ahead of time before thigns got to that.

I'm not, and frankly the developers agree with me. The demographic just isn't there. Also as for Eternal sonata and star ocean they both came out first on 360 (because of MS and that cash thing) and both the devs regret it, they had to add content for the ps3 release and by the time they were done with everything I don't even think they broke even (I know tales of ves lost money). Where Alchemist of Arland has made money on every one of the series.

I highly doubt star ocean 4 failed to profit on the 360 as its sales are at i believe 600k and 1 million overall if you include the ps3 version. how do you know tales of  versus lost money or that any other game that was 360 exclusive and went to ps3 was unsuccesful? I mean they all sold worse after being ported to the ps3 anyway except for vesperia. and what makes you think the devs regret putting their games on 360 if microsoft was giving them cash to do so and they could still port it to the ps3 a year later.
