Depends, ME3 only has 88K further to go before it passes ME2's total. Should still clear ME2's total within 3-5 weeks, and pre-orders will pick up again.

Yeah ME3 will fly past the total pre-orders for ME2 in a few weeks but I think it will doing less than 30k pre-orders a week for the first few weeks before it catches up and starts getting pre-orders on par.

How is Halo 4 doing in comparison to Gears 3?

I'm  not sure, I'll check and update this post in 5 minutes mate.

Update:

If my estimation of release date is correct within ~2 weeks, it should look like this:

• Halo 4: 158,844
• Gears of War 3: 94,945 (At the same stage)

If Halo 4 can keep the momentum, it will have a big shot at crossing 3M sales in Week 1. (Worldwide)

I look for it to do better than that - it is after all a direct sequel to 3 unlike Reach.
