in the Japan launch almost every game discounted on PSN and many of them were discounted by 1000 yen. in addition sony had a rewards program in place for the use of PSN from the start of the launch. add these factors to the news that many places have sold out of 16 and 32GB mem cards, I would say there's agood chance digital sales did really well.

If they were discounted by 1000 yen how much would that make the PSN game in American money?

I think it's roughly around 10 - 12 bucks

and yep we had that info in the official thread from the moment it was posted :P
