#10 - Prince of Persia (PS3/360)

A slow burn title. At the time I didn't love the game, but as the generation has progressed it's grown on me a lot. I absolutely love the art style - very much like a painting, with amazing vistas. Cue screenshot:

And yes, for once it actually looks like that in-game (better in fact).

The combat sucked, but it's great to traverse around this huge, varied world, healing the lands. The music was fantastic, the interactions between the Prince of Elika grew on me over the course of the game, particularly the Prince's Uncharted-esque one-liners, and the platforming was smooth and fun. I really want a sequel, although I fear it would take away from this title's uniqueness if there was one, so maybe it's better off standing alone.

My friend got this game with his 360, and I agree. It's not a title you would think that you would love, but it grows on you. The story is typical PoP, but no cheesy enemies with 1 liners. Just a funny guy who lost his Donkey helping a cute girl out.

Also I liked the combat, I thought overall this was a very polished game, and that's why I like it. Got all 1001 seeds.
