As Mordred11 posted, if we compare to last year, this weak PS3 only sold 16k more, with more quality games and less 50 dollars.

But hey, we have to roll with these numbers. If true, disappointing increase for the PS3 on a December month were price is important.

If these numbers are anything to go by, the issue isnt PS3s more numerous exclusives and more competitive price point...its the majority consumers simply not choosing to care.

Just to explain myself better, I said that both PS3 and 360 will have huge numbers in December NPD, of course I know that the 360 will demolish the competition, but both will have huge numbers compared to what both of them have done in the past. The reason I didn´t mention the Wii was because even though they will have good numbers, they have done a lot better in the past.

I classify huge considering the potential it has, so considering that the PS3 is more expensive and has less casual appeal then the 360, I think that December NPD numbers will be great for both platforms.
