Surprised, normally Nintendo products have by far the biggest boost of holidays, but this logic is not respected this week according to vgchartz.

'logic' ... uh huh, Ninteno products arnt bullet proof. The only solid sign we've seen of Wii coming first anywhere this Q is first last week in Japan, by a sniff. NPD, Chart track, Media Crate, and VGC have all had Wii 2nd or last.

The Wii has passed the PS3 last week in Japan due to holiday boost.

It has always been the case since the release of the Wii. We will see when the numbers will be out, if it had a better boost. Microsoft and Sony having a bigget boost on christmas in % is without any precedent.

I just said that, 1 week. Wii came last in NPD last month, behind PS3. First time it's ever been last in a holiday month. Don't just assume because they have previously they will again every year after, have you been living under a rock? Nintendo are barely projecting 7 mill shipped for Wii this Q.

You are mixing numbers, position and and boost. Nintendo has always had the biggest boost on christmas and I find it illogical that suddenly it is even behind the PS3 boost. We will see how it will turn out.

We're already seeing how it turns out. PS3 did less than Wii in October US, but was ahead in November further, it had a bigger boost in every respect you can think of, and don't even get me started on X360 November in US, it more than doubled Wii hw sales.

I find it hilarious how Ninty fans are like this, just auto expect Wii to be on top. I don't think so, it's a rapidly declining console ...
