Okay. I will now counter argue.
"Controls are meh"
The controls in Skyward Sword is a new and revolutionary way of using a sword, although it may not be absolutely perfect, it is still a step towards the future of swordplay and all gaming.
"Graphics are terrible"
The graphics in Skyward Sword are made to look like a water colour painting come to life if you already didn't know that. I think that the graphic style suits the game perfectly. Also, because of the graphic limitations of the wii, it cannot have as good graphics as say Uncharted 3. Taking that into consideration, the graphics are probably the best on the wii.
"Game world feels closed"
There are only 3 main areas in the entire game, although that isn't a lot, it makes up by how much there is in each area. The huge sky which you can freely fly around and explore is vast and full of hidden treasures and by sending goddess cubes into the sky, you add to the amount that can be done.
"Can't save anywhere"
Unlike previous Zelda games, you would be able to save anywhere anytime but you wouldn't continue from the exact same place. In Skyward Sword, when you save at a bird statue and quit the game, you will continue from the exact same place you saved. IMO this is better than being able to sace whenever you want because with the bird statues as I said previously, you continue from the exact same place. Plus there is a lot of bird statues everywhere meaning that saving anywhere shouldn't really be a problem.
If you still don't think that this game is amazing like I do then I respect your opinion. But from what I said above, I justified each negative point that you have listed and expanded on it. This game may not be a perfect game but it is my favourite game.
- The controls are quick, accurate and responsive.
- The graphics, although not the most realistic and detailed, is stunning and proves that games don't need realistic graphics to look amazing.
- The sky is an open and free world where you can fly and explore a number of islands in the sky.
The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword is an amazing game and I think that it could be the future of gaming.
