The Mario Kart series gets progressively better each instalment in my opinion and nobody expected Naughty Dog to release the only kart game that could rival Mario Kart 64, it topped it in my opinion because there was so much more content.

Cant remember, but which system did it come out and which version should I get?

It came out on the PS1 but I think it might be on the PS Store.
