I ended up on the charts page through a google search, and there I saw TWRoO and BengaBenga have a discussion with someone in the comments section. I thought they (Benga and Twroo) were wrong about whatever the discussion was about, so I signed up and supported the guy I've now forgotten who was.
In the end, it turned out I was wrong, though. But I was proven wrong through people being polite and using proper arguments, rather than the bickering that had been on all other video game sites I'd been interested in.
It was just brilliant, really. Loads of clever, interesting and polite people and a load of lovely charts and numbers. It was just golden for a somewhat pedantic statistics lover.
