Simple, if a shooter that sells blockbusters is released every year since 2007, 1,2,3,4,5 it'll dominate at least 5/10 spots in the top 10. Almost the same could be said for PS3 - in whch case it's WaW lagging behind, top 50s are more compareable in terms of diversity of genres, other than that they're almost as much a shooter orientated platforms as each other, the only one that does show diversity is ironically the Wii - which doesn't have many shooters in general.
Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.
