| twesterm said: I like my FiOS and I like my 360 but the FiOS app on the 360 is completely pointless. You don't have nearly as many channels on the 360, you can't record, it's a slower interface, no on demand (if anyone even uses that), and you get nothing extra for using the 360. When I first booted it up and saw that they were showing me Cinemax and HBO, I thought I would finally get those channels and could actually watch Game of Thrones when it came on, turns out I still had to subscribe to see those channels. I was hoping to see some record option so I could lessen the burden on my already cramped DVR and move that onto my 360 with plenty of space...nope. I was hoping I could just use an easy voice controlled guide, what I found was a guide with about 20 channels (most of which I don't even watch) and that's about it. I was incredibly excited when they first announced the FiOS app hoping I could stop using my Verizon DVR but sadly that app was a let down in every way possible. |
Isnt it it integrated with Bing Search? So if I search for something that is available on both Verizon FIOS and say Zune marketplace (which wouldnt be free to watch) I could choose to watch on Verison FIOS.
From what I understand Verizon will be adding more content as well.
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
