Wow I didn't realize that Skyrim already has over 24 GOTY awards, the game deserves every one of those.
10 million shipped is a very impressive amount. Also if the Steam sales of Skyrim are the fastest selling ever then I would guess it's well over a million by now, probably even closer to 2 million.
